The House is a beautiful double-storey holiday home surrounded by pristine fynbos of the idyllic holiday town of Yzerfontein. There are no other houses opposite the accommodation and it boasts a sea view over the fynbos from the top floor. The House sleeps 10 guests and has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. There is also a separate guest toilet. On the upper floor, there are 3 tastefully decorated bedrooms with 2 en-suite bathrooms and 1 separate toilet. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, sink and toilet. The second bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. There is also a separate guest toilet. The third bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. It also has a kitchenette, equipped with a bar fridge, microwave and tea and coffee-making facilities. The fourth and fifth bedrooms each have a double bed and guests in these bedrooms share a guest bathroom with a bath, shower, sink and toilet. Linen and towels are provided. There are 2 extra beds available but only for kids younger than 12 and only on request at an extra cost.
The house has 2 fully equipped kitchens on the lower and upper floors. The kitchens are each equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, tea and coffee-making facilities and a dishwasher. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine. The upstairs kitchen leads to a dining and lounge area with comfortable couches and a smart TV. If guests have their own subscription details, they can subscribe to DStv, Netflix and Apple TV. The upstairs lounge area has an indoor braai and leads to a balcony with a beautiful sea view.
The balcony has outdoor seating, an outdoor barbeque area and is ideal for a cocktail. The dining and lounge area on the lower floor leads to a veranda with outside seating, a braai area and a view of the large lawn. It is the perfect place for children to have fun running around.
The area offers numerous activities including fishing, skiing, surfing and hiking. There are also beautiful, seasonal wildflowers to see. Guests can drive to surrounding locations such as Buffelsfontein Wildlife and Nature Reserve, The West Coast National Park, !!Khwa ttu and Living Colors. The house is also close to several restaurants, delis and the Swartland wine route.
