Hemelstoep Apartment is an enchanting 2-bedroom getaway for a family of 4 with all the amenities you will need for a memorable getaway. With a beautiful view on the adjacent fynbos and Atlantic Ocean in the distance you can expect to relax on the stoep with a book and recharge in this beautiful unit of hosts Marinda and Niel. Enjoying local wines while lighting a fire for a sunset braai will be the perfect end to a magic day on the West Coast.

Please note:

* Guests can opt to book Hemelstoep (this unit has the use of the pool and sleeps 2 guests) in conjunction with Hemelstoep Apartment (sleeping 4 ).

* Should Hemelstoep Apartment guests want exclusive use of the pool area during their stay and not share with guests in the downstairs Pool unit, they can gladly request this at an additional R250 per night booked and we will then not place any other groups for the duration of their stay in the Hemelstoep Pool unit.

Had a lovely stay. The views of the beach in front and a beautiful forest in the back was a balance. Loved every moment🫶🏽 Would recommend for two people or even solo travellers.

Fantastiese tyd! Dit was 'n wonderlike ervaring en Hemelstoep het 'n pragtige uitsig oor die see. Dis ook naby die rotse en jy kan lekker gaan stap. Baie gawe gasvrou en gasheer wat ons vertel het van al die mooi plekke rondom Yzerfontein.

Fantasties en baie lekker. Ons het heerlik gekuier. Die verblyf was fantasties en baie veilig. Die uitsig van die balkon is uitstekend. Die uil is uniek en deel van die verblyf, baie oulik.

Our stay was great. Due to loadshedding, we experienced minor problems which were sorted out quickly. Apartment really user friendly and comfortable. Beautiful sea view. Will recommend it anytime for a peaceful breakaway. Thank you

We were very happy with the apartment; the tea/coffee/rusks were a very nice touch. The place was very neat and well organised. The views of the ocean were fantastic! We would definitely consider using it again in future. Thank you once again.

Voorwaar 'n hemelse ervaring by Hemelstoep. Gasvrou het vooraf gebel om te hoor of als in orde is, omrede ons bietjie laat was. Ontvangs was warm. Ons bespreking was vir 4 persone in dieselfde eenheid. Voormelde eenheid het 'n dubbel- sowel as 2 enkelbeddens. Gasvrou het aangebied dat 2de paartjie 'n ander eenheid met 'n dubbelbed mag gebruik, aangesien dit beskikbaar was, wat baie bedagsaam was en beslis waardeer was. Ons sal beslis terugkeer, een aand by Hemelstoep is beslis te min. Dankie Marinda - jy was 'n gasvrou duisend.

Thank you so much for accommodating me and my family , we had a wonderful stay , The unit is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay and to make us feel at home. I love the garden , peaceful and feels like you are in a different world. The views are absolutely stunning , the entire property is so clean and spotless , very neat, and tidy , we will be coming back for another visit . Wonderful friendly service , thank you once again for all your efforts in ensuring that we had everything we needed to have a fantastic stay . We would like to make use of this opportunity to thank each and every one that was involved in booking our accommodation at Hemestoep in Yzerfontein 31 August 2022. We had such a great time there. It is one of the most beautiful holiday apartments that we’ve stayed over. The apartments were clean, light and so welcoming. It was a pity that we could only stayed over for 1 night. The owners were so hospitable. We will definitely make use of Hemelstoep should we ever be in that area again. We will recommend it to everyone.

A little piece of heaven on earth. A beautiful apartment that has everything you need for the perfect break. The view of the sea from the apartment was amazing and we were blessed a stunning sunset. The hosts were so accommodating and always on hand to help. Do not hesitate, book this place!

Hemelstoep was definitely value for money. The unit was neat, clean and very comfortable. There are the most awesome views from the stoep. The attention to detail made us feel welcome. ie little note with chocolate. The property is also well maintained and neat. It most certainly gets a recommendation from us!

My partner and I took a spontaneous trip to Yzerfontein last minute. Time went by so quickly & we didn’t feel like driving back to Cape Town. Stopped outside a house that looked like an air B&B only to find that most houses in Yzerfontein have signs with the name of the house, the people that stay there and their numbers. So we called around but with no luck as we also had our dog with us which made it more difficult to find pet friendly accommodation. The first house we stopped at phoned us back to check in and see if we had found a place to stay yet and gave us a neighbour’s number. She unfortunately couldn’t assist us with her rental property but gave us another reference to call through to. That lady then phoned around on our behalf and found us an accommodation that would also allow our dog to stay with us. The venue we stayed at had the most beautiful view and a stunning pool area. The room we stayed at was extremely cosy, clean and very warm and welcoming. The hosts were exceptionally friendly even though we arrived so late and this was all organised vey last minute. They left an easter egg on our bed as well as a welcome note, fresh towels etc. We had a great time there and only wished we could stay there for much longer. The neighbours in Yzerfontein are all connected in a wonderful way. Each person was so helpful and so kind. Thank you for a wonderful stay and a great memory.

Ons was net vir die naweek in Yzerfontein maar het ons kuier baie geniet en wens ons kon nog bietjie langer bly. Ons verblyf was perfect en het als gehad wat ons sou nodig hê en meer.Ons sal defnitief julle weer gebruik en dankie vir julle vinnige en vriendlike diens.

Thank you Mariaan, We had a lovely stay at Hemelstoep. Yzerfontein is a very interesting area, the West coast has a beauty of its own, unlike the other coastal areas and we definitely appreciated it. The people there are also very friendly and welcoming which made our stay even more enjoyable!

First of all, I want to convey my heartfelt thanks to you, for the opportunity to enjoy such a beautiful house this weekend. This weekend will remain as a beautiful memory for us for our entire life. I don’t think we will ever stop thinking and talking about our beautiful memories we had this weekend. The view from the balcony is the best view that I have ever seen. And everything else was great on all levels. I know I can’t express my feelings in this small letter, but I am very happy to say that I spent such a wonderful weekend at the guest house. I thank you to the owners who communicated at all times when needed and a big thank you to everyone who made it possible. I cannot wait to have such and experience again.

We had a fabulously relaxing stay in the beautifully appointed upstairs apartment, waking up every morning with a to-die-for view of the ocean all the way across to Dassen Island. If you going to Yzerfontein, book this one - the hosts are truly wonderful.
